Magnolia Post Acute in El Cajon, CA is seeking a Full Time Physical Therapist to join our in-house rehab program. Monday-Friday schedule; competitive hourly pay with opportunities for growth.

• Provide counseling to patients and families regarding physical disorders.
• Generate discharge summaries compliant with regulatory and clinical standards.

PHYSICAL THERAPIST -FULL TIME - MAGNOLIA POST ACUTE -EL CAJON, CA

Monday-Friday Schedule. Join our team and start making a difference! Magnolia Post Acute in El Cajon, CA, is a post-acute care facility with long-term care, short-term care, and geriatric services provided. We can offer a stable and fun in-house therapy team to work with as well as excellent programs serving our geriatric clientele in their journey to recovery. We are currently seeking a Full Time Physical Therapist for our in-house rehab program!

Full Time: Monday-Friday Schedule. Pay: $44 - $55 /hour based on experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct effective screening and evaluation of patients with physical functioning disorders and/or wound care, developing appropriate care plans adhering to regulatory and clinical standards.
• Deliver rehabilitative, skilled, and medically necessary treatment interventions to patients with physical functioning disorders and/or wound care, in accordance with regulatory and clinical practice requirements.
• The role involves regular standing and walking throughout the facility and occasional lifting, transferring, and repositioning of patients and equipment. Physical demands vary throughout the day based on patient care needs.
• Administer various procedures as part of the rehabilitation plan, including manual techniques, ambulation, therapeutic exercises, modalities, use of supportive and assistive devices, and wound care.
• Provide consultation and counseling to patients, families, caregivers, and other service providers regarding physical disorders.
• Generate comprehensive discharge summaries of services provided, ensuring compliance with regulatory and clinical requirements.

Qualifications

• Physical Therapist license is required.
• Open to PTs at all experience levels. New Grads are welcome!
