Working within the Pioneer Health System, DOC delivers coordinated care from initial injury through surgery and rehabilitation. DOC operates walk-in, immediate-access orthopedic clinics that are open seven days a week with no appointment required. This full-time, on-site Physical Therapist role is based in Irving, TX. The Physical Therapist will evaluate guests with acute and chronic orthopedic conditions, develop individualized treatment plans, and provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting functional and mobility assessments, guiding patients through exercise programs, manual therapy, and other modalities, and educating guests and their caregivers on injury prevention, home exercise programs, and recovery expectations. The role involves close collaboration with surgeons, physician assistants, and other clinicians to ensure coordinated care across the continuum of treatment. The Physical Therapist will document clinical findings and progress in the medical record, support discharge planning, and contribute to quality improvement and best practices for orthopedic rehabilitation.
