Job summary

Flagship Therapy in Huntington Park, CA is seeking a PRN Physical Therapist to join our in-house therapy team. The position offers a flexible schedule and the opportunity to work with geriatric patients in a post-acute setting.

You will screen and evaluate patients, develop care plans, administer treatments, counsel families, and document discharge summaries in compliance with regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Licensed Physical Therapist in good standing.
• Open to all experience levels; new grads welcome.
• Experience in post-acute or geriatric care is a plus.

Responsibilities

PHYSICAL THERAPIST - PRN- HUNTINGTON PARK

Huntington Park in CA, is a post-acute care facility with long-term care, short-term care, and geriatric outpatient services provided. We can offer a stable and fun in-house therapy team to work with as well as excellent programs serving our geriatric clientele in their journey to recovery. We are seeking a PRN Physical Therapist to join our in-house therapy team.

PRN : Flexible schedule with work-life balance

Pay : $48 - $60 /hour based on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct effective screening and evaluation of patients with physical functioning disorders and/or wound care, developing appropriate care plans adhering to regulatory and clinical standards.
• Deliver rehabilitative, skilled, and medically necessary treatment interventions to patients with physical functioning disorders and/or wound care, in accordance with regulatory and clinical practice requirements.
• Administer various procedures as part of the rehabilitation plan, including manual techniques, ambulation, therapeutic exercises, modalities, use of supportive and assistive devices, and wound care.
• Provide consultation and counseling to patients, families, caregivers, and other service providers regarding physical disorders.
• Generate comprehensive discharge summaries of services provided, ensuring compliance with regulatory and clinical requirements.

Qualifications

• Physical Therapist license is required.
• Open to Physical Therapists at all experience levels. New Grads are welcome!
