Job summary

New Orange Hills in Orange, CA, is seeking a PRN Physical Therapist to join our in-house therapy team. You will screen and evaluate patients with physical functioning disorders, develop care plans, and deliver rehabilitative treatments in a skilled nursing and post-acute setting.

Competitive compensation ranges from $38 to $43 per hour depending on experience. New grads are welcome, and a supportive leadership team fosters professional growth in a fun work environment.

Qualifications

• Physical Therapist license is required.
• Open to PTs at all experience levels. New Grads are welcome!

Responsibilities

• Conduct effective screening and evaluation of patients with physical functioning disorders and/or wound care, developing appropriate care plans adhering to regulatory and clinical standards.
• Deliver rehabilitative, skilled, and medically necessary treatment interventions to patients with physical functioning disorders and/or wound care, in accordance with regulatory and clinical practice requirements.
• The role involves regular standing and walking throughout the facility and occasional lifting, transferring, and repositioning of patients and equipment. Physical demands vary throughout the day based on patient care needs.
• Administer various procedures as part of the rehabilitation plan, including manual techniques, ambulation, therapeutic exercises, modalities, use of supportive and assistive devices, and wound care.
• Provide consultation and counseling to patients, families, caregivers, and other service providers regarding physical disorders.
• Generate comprehensive discharge summaries of services provided, ensuring compliance with regulatory and clinical requirements.

New Orange Hills in Orange, CA, is a skilled nursing facility with long term care, post-acute rehab, and geriatric outpatient therapy services provided. We are seeking a PRN Physical Therapist to join our in-house therapy team.
