Job summary

PediaStaff is hiring a Physical Therapist in Huntington Park, CA for a hybrid role combining field and clinic work with birth-5 caseloads. You will collaborate with parents to support EI goals and social-emotional development, and contribute to feeding, language, and other speech-related areas.

Ideal candidates hold a Doctorate in Physical Therapy, a California license (or eligibility), and experience in pediatrics; bilingual is a plus.

Qualifications

• Must have pediatric experience or demonstrated interest in pediatrics.
• Current California Physical Therapy license or eligibility.
• Knowledge of IFSP process for kids birth-5 is preferred.
• Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy required.

Responsibilities

• Treat a caseload of birth to 5 in clinic and field settings.
• Collaborate with parents to support EI goals and social-emotional development.
• Provide parent/caregiver education in clinic and community environments.
• Work in a hybrid role, half time in the field and half in the clinic, in Huntington Park, CA.
• Participate in training programs to advance pediatric-related skills and parent coaching.

Amazing opportunity for a new graduate or experienced Physical Therapist to join a collaborative team in a unique environment.

• You’ll work in Huntington Park, CA (LA County) in a hybrid position of half time in the field and half time in the clinic
• You’ll treat a caseload of birth to 5 and work alongside parents to achieve best outcomes for the child meeting their EI needs and social-emotional development
• This organization provides comprehensive support to not only the child, but to the parents as well
• Focus is on feeding, language, communication and other speech-related difficulties
• Training program available to advance your skills with parent coaching
• You’ll provide parent/caregiver education and work in the clinic and in the community at childcare settings and in other natural environments
• Preferred experience in pediatrics, current CA license, and knowledge of IFSP process for kids birth-5. Bilingual a plus but not required You will hold a Doctorate Degree in Physical Therapy, and a current state license (or be eligible for same).
