Job summary

Trinity Healthcare Talent Services is seeking a qualified Physical Therapist for a 99-bed facility in California. This position offers a competitive hourly salary of $56-$61, with 35 hours per week, Monday through Friday, no weekend rotation.

You will evaluate patients, develop individualized plans, use manual therapy and exercises, monitor progress, educate families, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Must hold a PT license in good standing
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar setting preferred
• Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and kinesiology
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
• Physical stamina and dexterity for therapy duties
• CPR certification

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients' medical history, physical condition, and functional abilities to develop an individualized treatment plan
• Use exercises, manual therapy, and equipment to improve strength, range of motion, and balance
• Monitor progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
• Educate patients and families on exercises and home progress
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care
• Maintain accurate documentation of progress and plans

As a Physical Therapist, you will work with patients of all ages and backgrounds to help them improve their mobility, reduce pain, and increase their overall physical function. Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate patients' medical history, physical condition, and functional abilities to develop an individualized treatment plan
• Use a variety of techniques and modalities, such as exercises, manual therapy, and equipment, to improve patients' strength, range of motion, and balance
• Monitor patients' progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
• Educate patients and their families on exercises and techniques to continue their progress at home
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care for patients
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient progress and treatment plans
• Adhere to all legal and ethical standards in patient care and treatment

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
• State license to practice as a Physical Therapist
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar setting preferred
• Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and kinesiology
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
