Work Hours: 35 hours per week, Monday-Friday with weekend rotation

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Physical Therapist to join our team at our 113-bed hospital. The ideal candidate will have a passion for helping patients improve their physical well-being and a strong understanding of various physical therapy techniques.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct initial evaluations and assessments of patients' physical abilities and limitations
- Develop individualized treatment plans for patients based on their specific needs and goals
- Implement and monitor treatment plans, making adjustments as needed for optimal progress
- Educate patients and their families on exercises and techniques to improve mobility, strength, and overall physical function
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care for patients
- Maintain accurate and updated patient records and documentation
- Stay current with advancements and best practices in physical therapy through continuing education and professional development opportunities
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution
- Current state license to practice as a Physical Therapist
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a clinical setting, preferably in a hospital or acute care facility
- Strong knowledge of physical therapy techniques and modalities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
- Compassionate and patient-focused approach to care
- Willingness to work weekends and rotate through weekend shifts
