Job summary

Providence in Gresham is seeking a Physical Therapist for outpatient neuro care on a full-time day schedule. You will evaluate patients, design and implement personalized therapy plans, and work with a multidisciplinary team to restore function and independence.

Candidates should hold an Oregon PT license and relevant degrees (BPT, MPT, or DPT) with a patient-centered approach and a commitment to quality care aligned with Providence's mission.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor, Master, or DPT in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
  • Oregon Physical Therapist License upon hire.
  • National Provider BLS – American Heart Association upon hire.

Responsibilities

  • Provide skilled physical therapy to outpatient neuro patients.
  • Evaluate and treat a wide range of diagnoses and disabilities.
  • Develop and adjust individualized treatment plans with the care team.
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other therapists to maximize outcomes.

Physical Therapist – Outpatient Neuro at Providence Gresham Square- Full-Time, Day Schedule

The Physical Therapist manages and provides skilled physical therapy to patients/clients with a wide variety of diagnoses and disabilities, taking into account the individual patient special physical or age-related needs. Requires skills in patient/client evaluation and treatment, as well as professional consultations to achieve maximum patient/client independence in accordance with the individual functional level and potential.

Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited Physical Therapy Program, or
  • Master's Degree from an accredited Physical Therapy Program, or
  • D.P.T. from an accredited Physical Therapy Program
  • Coursework/Training: Occasionally a position will require specialized physical therapy training to meet a particular department need
  • Upon hire: Oregon Physical Therapist License
    • License in states wherever care is delivered
  • Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
  • Occasionally a position will require specialized physical therapy experience to meet a particular department need
