Job Summary

The PHYSICAL THERAPIST (PT) - ACUTE CARE is a healthcare provider who, through education and experience, possesses a distinct body of knowledge and skills related to patient care in an acute setting. Responsibilities include assessing, implementing, and evaluating patient responses to medical conditions and rehabilitation interventions, initiating physical therapy care, health teaching, and counseling, all performed under supervision and in accordance with relevant practice acts.

Shift Details

Day shift, 4x10-hour days (08:00 - 18:30), starting 06/22/2025. Job duration: 12 weeks. On-call pay: $6.00, Call back: $25.00, Holiday: $25.00.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate in Physical Therapy
• Current GA licensure as a Physical Therapist
• Minimum one year experience in a relevant setting
• Current CPR (BLS level) and other health screening as required

Responsibilities

• Conduct patient assessments and develop treatment plans
• Administer therapeutic interventions and educate patients
• Monitor and modify treatment plans as needed
• Collaborate with healthcare team members
• Maintain accurate documentation
• Participate in ongoing professional development
