Job summary

Sentara Health in Elizabeth City, NC seeks a licensed Physical Therapist to assess, plan, and participate in rehabilitative programs that improve mobility, relieve pain, and restore function after disease or injury.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in physical therapy is required.
• State licensure as a Physical Therapist is required in the state of practice.
• Advanced degrees are preferred or beneficial for clinical leadership.

Responsibilities

• Initiate, develop, and maintain collaborative interactions with internal and external team members, patients, and family members to improve patient outcomes.
• Productive and efficient in daily operations.
• Selects and performs the appropriate assessment procedures.
• Establishes and updates formal plan of care to address individual patient needs.

Experience

• Required license must be valid in state of practice
• Performs modalities/therapeutic interventions in accordance with accepted standards of care and department policies and procedures.

Compensation

We provide market-competitive compensation packages, inclusive of base pay, incentives, and benefits. The base pay range for full-time employment is $103,376.00 - $149,115.20 annually. Additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call pay, shift premiums, extra-shift incentives, or bonus opportunities. Compensation within the range may vary based on qualifications, experience, location, market conditions, and business needs. Note: If an annual salary is posted, it is based on a full-time colleague working 2,080 hours annually.
