Job summary

Spectrum Healthcare Resources is seeking an On-Site Staff Physical Therapist at the Dumfries Ambulatory Care Clinic in Virginia. This role is available for both full-time and part-time schedules, typically Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with no night shifts and holiday considerations.

Applicants must hold a Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy, be licensed to practice in the U.S., maintain BLS certification, and be a U.S. citizen.

Qualifications

• Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited college of Physical Therapy.
• Active, unrestricted PT license in the United States.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• U.S. citizenship.
• Minimum of two years of experience within the last three years.
• Excellent English communication.
• Computer literacy including word processing, data entry, and electronic records.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and treat movement dysfunction and restore physical function.
• Provide orthopedic clinical care for ages 15–64, including active-duty service members, retirees, and their family members.
• Collaborate with subspecialists and referring physicians to support military personnel and their families.

Spectrum Healthcare Resources has an excellent opportunity for a prior Military or Civilian Staff Physical Therapist.

Location

Dumfries Ambulatory Care Clinic, Dumfries, Virginia

Schedule

Full-time/Part-Time — Monday–Friday

Requirements

• Education: Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited college of Physical Therapy
• Preferred - Sports Medicine
• License: Must have and maintain a valid, unrestricted license in one of the 50 United States, the District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, Guam, or the U.S. Virgin Islands
• Experience: Minimum of two (2) years of experience within the preceding three (3) years
• Certifications: Must have and maintain current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) certification
• Citizenship: Must be a U.S. citizen
• Communication: Must be able to read, write, and speak English well enough to effectively communicate with patients and other staff members
• Technical Skills: Must have knowledge of computer operations and proficiency in basic word processing, data entry, and automated records
