Downey Post Acute in Downey, CA is a post-acute care facility seeking a Weekend PRN Physical Therapist to join our in-house therapy team.

You will screen and evaluate patients, develop care plans, and deliver rehabilitative interventions in accordance with regulatory standards.

Open to therapists at all experience levels; new grads welcome. Pay ranges $55–$60 per hour based on experience.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Screen and evaluate patients with physical functioning disorders and/or wound care, developing appropriate care plans adhering to regulatory and clinical standards.
• Deliver rehabilitative, skilled, and medically necessary treatment interventions to patients with physical functioning disorders and/or wound care, in accordance with regulatory and clinical practice requirements.
• Administer procedures as part of the rehabilitation plan, including manual techniques, ambulation, therapeutic exercises, modalities, devices, and wound care.
• Provide consultation and counseling to patients, families, caregivers, and other service providers regarding physical disorders.
• Generate comprehensive discharge summaries of services provided, ensuring regulatory and clinical compliance.

Downey Post Acute in Downey, CA , is a post-acute care facility with long-term care, short-term care, and geriatric outpatient services provided. We can offer a stable and fun in-house therapy team to work with as well as excellent programs serving our geriatric clientele in their journey to recovery. We are seeking a Weekend PRN Physical Therapist to join our in-house therapy team.

PRN : Weekend schedule with work-life balance
Pay :$55- $60 /hour based on experience

Key Responsibilities:
