Job summary

MercyOne, part of Trinity Health Corp., in Davenport, IA, is hiring a Physical Therapist for a 32-hour workweek with a day shift. A Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy and an Iowa license are required, with Basic Life Support within 6 months of employment.

No prior experience is required. You will provide quality patient care across inpatient, outpatient, and skilled settings, develop individualized rehabilitation plans, document care, and supervise interns and staff as needed under state

As a Physical Therapist at MercyOne, you will:

• Provide quality care to a variety of patients in a caring, professional and efficient manner including inpatient, outpatient, and skilled care
• Evaluate the patient's condition and develop, implement and coordinate a customized physical rehabilitation plan to enhance strength, flexibility, range of motion, motor control, skin integrity, balance, and functional mobility skills, with associated equipment as needed, as well as reduce pain and discomfort and prevent secondary impairments in neonatal, adolescent, adult and geriatric populations
• Complete necessary documentation in an accurate and timely manner
• Supervise clinical interns in and effective and professional manner and to supervise supportive staff effectively as required by Iowa and Illinois professional practice acts
