Job summary

American Senior Communities is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist for the Danville Regional Rehabilitation location. This full-time role involves evaluating patients, developing treatment plans, discharging plans, supervising PTAs, and contributing to case management to deliver quality care to our senior residents.

You will work with a team of licensed therapists and Directors of Therapy, enjoying mentorship for therapists new to long-term care and a variety of shifts to fit your lifestyle

Qualifications

• Develop initial and ongoing treatment plans.
• Develop discharge plans.
• Supervise Physical Therapy Assistants (PTA).
• Contribute to case management.
• Maintain positive level of interaction with patients and center staff.
• Adhere to applicable state regulations concerning physical therapy services.

FULL TIME (40 HOURS)

MENTORSHIP PROGRAM AVAILABLE TO THERAPIST NEW TO LONG TERM CARE

The Physical Therapist implements skilled physical therapy services for patients in all ASC Therapies & Wellness settings, in accordance with the principles and practices of physical therapy and within the policies and procedures.

• Evaluate patients and provides quality patient care

• Supervise Physical Therapy Assistants (PTA)
• Contribute to case management
