Job summary

MaineHealth's Memorial Hospital in Conway, NH, is seeking a Physical Therapist to join our traveler program. The role conducts evaluations, develops plans, and delivers treatments to restore function and reduce pain, aligned with the Plan of Care.

Candidates must be graduates of an APTA-accredited program, hold or obtain state licensure, and have BLS; prior hospital experience preferred. This is a traveler position with competitive benefits and a supportive team.

Summary: The Physical Therapist role performs physical therapy evaluations, develops plans, and carries out treatments to restore function, relieve pain, and prevent disability following disease, injury, or loss of a body part; helps patients reach their maximum performance in accordance with the Plan of Care prescribed by the provider. Provides all aspects of care based on standards established by the American Physical Therapy Association.

This is a Traveler position.

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)

1. Education: Graduate of an APTA accredited Physical Therapist program required.
2. License/Certifications: Current applicable state(s) temporary/permanent license as a Physical Therapist required or in compliance with the state practice act. Current BLS certification required or must obtain within 30 days of start date. Home Care positions will require current, valid Driver's License to operate a motor vehicle, with vehicle available for work covered by liability insurance as specified by agency policy.
3. Experience: One year of experience working in a hospital, long-term care, home, school system, or outpatient Physical Therapy department preferred.

The pay range for this position is $77,147.20to $104,353.60per year.

Compensation for part-time positions isdeterminedon a prorated basis consistent with the scheduled hours and applicable full-time equivalent (FTE).
