PTMatch in New York, NY seeks a consummate Physical Therapist to travel around Manhattan to patients in offices, homes, and gyms. This is not home health. Expect about five visits per day with one-hour appointments, moving between sites across the City.

You’ll have autonomy in your treatment approach and schedule, working independently while staying connected with a team. The caseload is broad, including young athletes, executives, and older adults, with about 60/40 ortho to neuro.

Qualifications

• Valid New York PT license required.
• 2+ years outpatient ortho PT experience.
• Some neuro experience preferred.
• OCS or similar advanced cert is a plus.
• CPR certification preferred.

This is a unique opportunity for a consummately professional Physical Therapist who is comfortable in a variety of surroundings.

This is NOT a MC Part B home health PT Position.

If you love your independence and managing yourself and your schedule, then you'll want to check this out.

This employer is hiring for a position where you go to people around Manhattan in their offices, homes, and gyms. This is not a "home health" position for the home bound. You go to where the patients are as a convenience to them. And as such, you'll see about 5 visits a day, traveling around the City, one on one with each patient for an hour appointment.

You'll have a great deal of autonomy in your treatment approach and style while working independently. But you'll need to be creative and resourceful, like the other PTs on their team.

The patient population is broad and eclectic, from young athletes, to executives, to older adults whose families want the best for them. The diagnosis breakdown is about 60/40 ortho/neuro.

To succeed in this position, you'll need to be a consummate professional who is able to interact, motivate, and communicate extremely well with a wide variety of people. You will get an inside view into people's lives, where they work and live, and help them live lives to their fullest.

4x10, 8 hour shift, Choose your own hours, Day shift, Monday to Friday, No nights, No weekends

Duties:

• Evaluate and treat patients according to your best clinical judgement

Requirements:

• Valid New York PT license required
• Ideally 2 or more years of out-patient ortho PT experience
• Some neuro experience preferred
• Job experience in any service related field prior to becoming a PT is an added plus
• Advanced Certification (e.g. OCS or other) is a plus but not necessary
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• CPR Certification preferred
