Concentric Methods - Physical Therapist Position

Concentric Methods is seeking a Physical Therapist to join our team. This position is contingent upon contract award.

Job Duty

The Physical Therapist will assist with the recovery of patients recuperating from injuries, illnesses, and surgeries. They will work with patients to help them regain movement and manage pain, in either a hospital or clinical setting. The therapist will practice therapy and treatment, helping patients reclaim their life, momentum, and contentment.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

1. Plan and prepare written treatment programs based on patient evaluations.
2. Administer manual exercises to improve and maintain function.
3. Instruct, motivate, and assist patients in performing various physical activities, including non-manual exercises, ambulatory functional activities, daily-living activities, and the use of assistive devices such as crutches, canes, and prostheses.
4. Administer soft tissue mobilization, applying knowledge of mobilization techniques and body physiology.
5. Administer traction to relieve pain, using traction equipment.
6. Record treatment details, responses, and progress in patient charts or automated systems.
7. Coordinate treatment with physicians and other staff to gather additional patient information, suggest revisions, and integrate physical therapy into overall healthcare plans.
8. Communicate with referring physicians regarding patient care concerns as needed.
