Job summary

Growing Minds Therapy is seeking a compassionate Pediatric Physical Therapist to join our outpatient pediatric team in Maine. You will evaluate and treat children, develop personalized plans, and work with a multidisciplinary team to support growth and independence.

You will educate families, document care in our EMR, and contribute to a collaborative, child-centered environment, with flexible scheduling including full-time and part-time possibilities.

Qualifications

• Pediatric PT license or eligibility to practice in Maine.
• Experience or interest in pediatric therapy and multidisciplinary care.
• Strong communication with families and schools.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat pediatric patients with orthopedic, neurological, developmental, and genetic conditions.
• Develop individualized treatment plans to improve gross motor skills, strength, balance, and mobility.
• Collaborate with occupational therapists, SLPs, physicians, schools and families for coordinated care.
• Educate caregivers on home exercise programs and strategies to support progress.
• Complete documentation accurately using the electronic medical record.
• Contribute to a collaborative, child-centered therapy environment.

Growing Minds Therapy is growing, and we're looking for a compassionate, motivated Physical Therapist to join our pediatric team!

If you're passionate about helping children build strength, confidence, independence, and mobility while working alongside an experienced multidisciplinary team, we'd love to meet you.

About Us

Growing Minds Therapy is a therapist-owned pediatric outpatient clinic providing occupational therapy, speech-language pathology, and physical therapy services to children from birth through adolescence. We provide individualized, family-centered care for children with developmental delays, neurological diagnoses, orthopedic conditions, genetic disorders, and other physical and developmental challenges.

As we expand into our newly renovated facility featuring a larger therapy gym, we're excited to continue growing our physical therapy program.

What You'll Do

• Evaluate and treat pediatric patients with a variety of orthopedic, neurological, developmental, and genetic diagnoses

• Develop individualized treatment plans focused on improving gross motor skills, strength, balance, coordination, mobility, endurance, and functional independence

• Collaborate with occupational therapists, speech-language pathologists, physicians, schools, and families to provide coordinated care

• Educate caregivers on home exercise programs and strategies to support continued progress outside of therapy

• Complete documentation accurately and efficiently using our electronic medical record

• Contribute to a collaborative, supportive, and child-centered therapy environment

What We're Looking For

• Current Maine Physical Therapy license (or eligibility)

• Passion for working with children and their families

• Strong clinical reasoning and problem-solving skills

• Excellent communication and organizational abilities

• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team

• Pediatric experience is preferred, but enthusiastic new graduates are encouraged to apply
