Job description

Pediatric Physical Therapist (PT/DPT)

The Openshaw Spot | Milbridge, Machias & Ellsworth, Maine

Can you turn climbing stairs into a game? Celebrate a first independent step like it's the Super Bowl? Get excited about obstacle courses and scooter boards?

Then you might be exactly who we're looking for.

The Openshaw Spot is a growing pediatric therapy practice serving children and families throughout Downeast Maine. We're looking for a Pediatric Physical Therapist who believes therapy should be engaging, evidence-based, and centered around helping children reach their fullest potential.

Why You’ll Love Working Here

We're more than a clinic—we're a team. We value collaboration, creativity, mentorship, and work-life balance. Our therapists work together every day, celebrate each other's wins, and have the freedom to make therapy both meaningful and fun.

  • 30-hour work week with full-time salary
  • Competitive salary based on experience
  • Health insurance (Employer Pays 25%)
  • Paid Time Off (PTO) (120 hours a year)
  • 401(k) with 4% employer match
  • Paid CEUs, conferences, licensure, and professional development
  • Flexible scheduling
  • Strong interdisciplinary collaboration
  • Beautiful sensory gyms and treatment spaces
  • Opportunities for leadership and career advancement
  • Relocation assistance or sign-on bonus available for the right candidate
We're Looking For Someone Who

  • Enjoys working with infants, children, and adolescents
  • Loves collaborating with OTs and SLPs
  • Thinks creatively and enjoys making movement fun
  • Values teamwork, growth, and family-centered care

Whether you're helping a child take their first independent steps, improve balance and coordination, master the playground, or gain confidence in their body, you'll be making an impact that lasts far beyond the therapy gym.

Bonus points if you don't mind racing kids down the hallway, crawling through tunnels, giving endless high-fives, and celebrating every milestone—big or small.

At The Openshaw Spot, you'll find more than a job—you'll find a team that supports one another, laughs together, and shares a common mission of helping children thrive.
