Job summary

Piedmont Atlanta Hospital is seeking a Physical Therapist to provide evaluations, treatments, and rehabilitation services for patients across all ages. You will work Monday–Friday and coordinate care with PT assistants to maximize function, reduce pain, and prevent disability following illness or injury.

Ideal candidates hold a PT degree and state CEU compliance, with a Georgia license or compact privileges and BCLS certification.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program with a BS, MS, or DPT.
• Must maintain current CEUs as required by the State.

Responsibilities

• Provides PT evaluations, modalities, and treatments to restore function and relieve pain for a designated patient group.
• Cares for pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients; may oversee staff and supervise assistants.

Provides patient care to all age groups to include pediatric, adult and geriatric. Responsible for the care of patients treated by physical therapist assistants. May be responsible for orientation and ongoing guidance of assigned staff.

Required Hours

Qualifications

Education

Work Experience

• 2 years of experience Preferred

Licenses and Certifications

• Current Georgia Physical Therapist License or current compact privileges in Georgia Required
• BCLS - Basic Life Support through AHA Required
