Job summary

Piedmont Atlanta Hospital seeks a licensed Physical Therapist to join our inpatient/outpatient team in Atlanta, GA. You will evaluate patients, select modalities, and provide treatments to restore function and reduce pain across pediatric, adult, and geriatric populations.

Supervise PT assistants and contribute to patient education and discharge planning. The role requires a PT degree (BS/MS/DPT), active Georgia license or compact privileges, and current BCLS certification.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program with a BS, MS, or DPT required.
• Must maintain current CEUs as required by the State.
• 2 years of experience preferred.
• Current Georgia PT license or compact privileges required.
• BCLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide PT services to assigned patient group across ages.
• Perform evaluations, modalities, and treatments to restore function and relieve pain.
• Supervise and guide staff and PT assistants as needed.

Provides physical therapy services for a designated group of patients, assisting them to reach highest level of physical independence. Conducts physical therapy evaluations, modalities, and treatments to restore function, relieve pain, and prevent disability following disease or injury. Provides patient care to all age groups to include pediatric, adult and geriatric. Responsible for the care of patients treated by physical therapist assistants. May be responsible for orientation and ongoing guidance of assigned staff.

Required Hours: Monday- Friday 8am-4:30pm
