Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a Manager, Physical Security Systems and Innovation to lead the development of the Physical Security Technology Strategy and identify emerging technologies to protect customers and team members.

The role also serves as a critical liaison to external partners and key stakeholders across the organization, coordinating with IT resources and cross-functional teams to ensure security objectives align with enterprise goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent with 2+ years of experience in systems/technology OR High School/GED with 5+ years in systems/technology.
• At least 3 years in a technical role providing system support in a large corporate environment.
• Experience with physical security concepts, system designs and best practices.
• Ability to communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Willing to travel up to 10% for business purposes.

Responsibilities

• Leads and develops Asset Protection Physical Security Technology Strategy.
• Maintains awareness of security products, services and technology trends for Walgreens Enterprise.
• Identifies, evaluates, and implements emerging technologies to support Walgreens business.
• Acts as liaison to internal IT resources and major systems interfaces.
