You will shape roadmaps, oversee system design and integration, and partner with AWS teams to ensure compliant, reliable security infrastructure. This role emphasizes innovation and incident response leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related technical field.
• Experience in industrial or commercial engineering or project management in Mission Critical facilities including data centers, power generation, or oil/gas facilities.
• Experience leading physical security engineering teams is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of physical security engineers to deliver reliable security systems across multiple facilities.
• Define and execute roadmaps for access control, video surveillance, intrusion detection, and perimeter security.
• Provide technical guidance on security system architecture, integration, and deployment.
• Collaborate with other AWS teams to integrate physical security technology.
• Evaluate and manage relationships with security vendors and integrators.
• Ensure compliance with regulations, standards and internal policies.
• Lead incident response and drive continuous improvement of security operations.
• Stay current with emerging physical security technologies and implement innovations.
