Job summary

InnovAge Holding Corp. is seeking a Physical Security Specialist to help manage the organization-wide security program, including audits, incident response, and policy development across facilities and personnel.

You will collaborate with stakeholders nationwide, conduct risk assessments, track metrics, and support workplace violence prevention while ensuring regulatory compliance and continuous program improvement. Regular travel to InnovAge sites is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related field, and/or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
• Requires state issued driver’s license, personal transportation, good driving record and auto insurance as required by law and the ability to travel.
• Requires ASIS Associate Protection Professional (APP) and/or Physical Security Professional (PSP) designation or ability to obtain within two (2) years of hire date.
• Minimum four (4) years of Physical Security experience required.
• Ideal candidate will have physical security experience in the healthcare industry at health delivery and/or insurance organizations.
• In-depth knowledge on the design, implementation, and maintenance of security systems and service as well as conducting investigations.
• In-depth knowledge of workplace violence prevention and risk assessment methodologies.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and experience managing projects.
• Superior customer service skills and orientation
• Strong verbal and written (report) communications skills and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in identifying, assessment and mitigation of physical security risks; develop enterprise-wide framework; implement incident response plans.
• Develop and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders to build consensus and leverage resources.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to enforce compliance with policies and standards across the organization.
• Conduct physical security risk and compliance audits for all InnovAge properties; drive mitigation of findings.
• Assist with developing, implementing, enforcing, and updating physical security policies and procedures.
• Assist with developing and delivering physical security training and awareness programs.
• Gather and report applicable metrics regarding delivery of physical security functions.
• Evaluate compliance and effectiveness of education efforts and implement improvements.
• Perform audits of documentation, departments, and functions to ensure regulatory adherence.
• Monitor physical security systems maintenance and repairs and follow up on corrective actions.
• Provide timely reporting and updates to ongoing incidents.
