Job summary

MGT is seeking a Physical Security Solutions Architect I to design and deliver physical security solutions, including video surveillance and access control. You will be the primary technical contact, translate requirements into practical designs, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to win opportunities.

You will maintain current certifications, stay ahead of industry trends, and support proposals, RFP responses, and client workshops while working on-site in Livermore, CA and Anaheim, CA.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• One (1) or more years of Physical Security Solution experience.
• Manufacturer certifications required, with a commitment to ongoing manufacturer training and product knowledge development.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a primary technical contact for customers in physical security solutions.
• Assess customer business and technical requirements and translate them into practical solution recommendations.
• Design solutions across video surveillance, access control, physical security platforms, security integration, and deployment planning.
• Develop accurate bills of materials, statements of work, solution diagrams, assumptions, and technical proposal content.
• Present technical recommendations, product demonstrations, and solution workshops to customer stakeholders.
• Collaborate with Account Managers, specialized architects, manufacturers, distributors, Engineering, and Services teams.
• Validate compatibility, scope, risks, dependencies, and implementation considerations before customer commitment.
• Maintain current manufacturer training, certifications, product knowledge, and awareness of technology trends.
• Support opportunity qualification, competitive positioning, and technical responses to RFPs and RFQs.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

The Physical Security Solutions Architect I designs physical security solutions including video surveillance, access control, and related security technologies. Develops technical recommendations, supports customer engagements, and assists with project planning and implementation strategies. In this role, you will:

• Serve as a primary technical contact for customers in physical security solutions.

• Assess customer business and technical requirements and translate them into practical solution recommendations.
