Job summary

Idaho Power, located in Boise, Idaho, seeks three Security Specialists to join our Physical Security team. You will promote positive security interactions, monitor guards, train staff, and oversee visitor management. The role supports incident response and security reporting while contributing to safe, reliable energy delivery.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2 years of experience in physical security.
• CPR/First Aid, CPI preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and promote positive security interactions and customer service at Idaho Power facilities.
• Monitor contracted guard personnel and train staff accordingly.
• Schedule and conduct training for Physical Security operations.
• Assist with visitor management and incident response as needed.
