Job summary

ArchKey Solutions in Plymouth, MN or Remote is seeking a Physical Security Estimator who supports preconstruction estimates, bids, and RFPs, coordinating with Account Executives and Managers. The ideal candidate has strong analytical and mathematical skills, experience in physical security estimating, and familiarity with design/build processes.

The role emphasizes LEAN practices, site surveys, and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• 1-5 years of Physical Security experience in estimating is preferred.
• Ability to read, interpret, and understand plans, drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
• Basic training in project management and understanding of the project life cycle.
• Experience with estimating, cost value analysis, and bid processes.

Responsibilities

• Plan estimating activities for each project, gather quotes from subcontractors, and schedule tasks.
• Review bid documents, determine expenses, labor rates, and other costs with the account team.
• Survey job sites as needed to determine cost-effective plans.
• Prepare clear and complete estimate documents and assist in procurement and proposals.
• Ensure estimates meet customer and company requirements and conditions.
• Apply LEAN concepts to improve efficiency and processes.
