Job summary

Prime Secured seeks a Senior Project Estimator to lead the estimating team, develop standards, and collaborate with Sales, Engineering, and Vendors on security projects. The role requires deep labor cost analysis, blueprint interpretation, and proposal preparation to ensure accurate time, material, and cost identification.

Qualifications

• Must have 5+ years of experience in the security industry.
• Ability to read blueprints is required.
• Must be self-motivated with limited supervision.
• Experience with low voltage wiring and security equipment installation knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Oversee, manage and lead estimating team, processes and standards.
• Review proposals prepared by the team to ensure expectations are met.
• Collaborate with Sales, PMs, Engineers and Vendors.
• Conduct research and analysis to obtain data on labor costs, materials, production times, etc.
• Create and maintain estimating standards and scorecards.
• Collaborate with Procurement and Engineering to review products, sourcing and pricing.
• Maintain workload balance for Estimating team.
• Read blueprints and analyze documents to prepare estimates.
• Manage pricing from various vendors and manufacturers.
• Ensure timely completion of estimates.
• Assist sales team in final project preparation transactions.
