People Driven Technology, Inc is seeking an Engineering Assistant, Physical Security to support CAD design, project delivery, and documentation for security systems across markets. You will prepare CAD drawings, system diagrams, and submittal packages, translating field conditions into professional deliverables.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or technical certificate in drafting, engineering technology, physical security, or related field.
• Two+ years hands-on experience in physical security, low-volume systems, building automation, electrical systems, or similar technical design environments; direct physical security experience preferred.
• Proficiency with Autodesk AutoCAD; Revit or similar tools a plus.
• Ability to read and apply construction drawings, floor plans, cabling information, and product documentation.
• Experience supporting submittals, shop drawings, product data, as-built documents, and closeout packages.
• Working proficiency with Bluebeam, Excel, Word, Outlook, and document repositories; familiarity with construction-management platforms.

Responsibilities

• Create CAD and technical design deliverables including drawings, floor plans, risers, and system diagrams using Autodesk tools.
• Prepare hardware submittals, shop drawings, product data, and closeout packages with quality checks.
• Maintain document control: revision status, naming conventions, and version control; support RFP workflows.
• Support quality and process improvements by developing checklists and repeatable workflows, protecting confidential information.
