Job summary

People Driven Technology, Inc is seeking an Engineering Assistant, Physical Security to support the design and project delivery of our physical security practice. You will prepare CAD drawings, system diagrams, hardware submittals, as-built documentation, and closeout packages for RFPs and phased-construction projects.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or technical certificate or equivalent experience in drafting, engineering technology, physical security, or related field.
• Two+ years hands‑on experience in physical security or similar technical design environment.
• Proficiency with Autodesk AutoCAD; Revit a plus.
• Strong reading of construction drawings and diagrams.
• Experience with Bluebeam, Excel, Word, Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Create CAD drawings, floor plans, risers, wiring diagrams and system diagrams using Autodesk tools.
• Prepare and submit hardware submittals, shop drawings and closeout packages.
• Maintain document control, revisions, and version control for RFPs and phased construction.
• Coordinate with Project Managers to align drawings with project schedules and milestones.
• Review deliverables for technical accuracy, formatting, and compliance with project requirements.
