Fusion Academy is a fully accredited private school offering 1-to-1 learning for grades 4–12. We seek a Physical & Health Education Teacher to design personalized PE and health lessons, adapt to diverse learners, and partner with families to support student growth.

You’ll teach a range of PE and health courses, collaborate with peers, and contribute to campus life while keeping accurate records and pursuing ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology or Physical Education.
• Minimum 20 college credits in Kinesiology, Anatomy, Physiology, and/or Physical Education.
• Current CPR Certification.
• Willingness to teach a wide variety of PE & health courses with provided curriculum/resources.

• Differentiate and personalize academic instruction and support social and emotional development in students ranging from 4th - 12th grades.

• Invest in your own growth through reflection, feedback, and ongoing professional development.

What We’re Looking For:

• Previous education or experience must include one, or a combination of the following:

• Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology or Physical Education

• Minimum of 20 college credits in Kinesiology, Anatomy, Physiology, and/or Physical Education

• Expertise in the relevant subject area

• Enrollment in a program for, or completion of, a Personal Trainer certification

• Current CPR Certification

• Ability and willingness to teach a wide variety of PE & health courses (athletic sports, dance, board sports, personal fitness, group classes, health), following content standards — curriculum and resources provided.

• Experience working with students, including those with learning differences, neurodiversity, accelerated learning needs, and/or mental health challenges.

• Mentoring experience and a passion for social-emotional learning.

• Outgoing, adaptable, and eager to thrive in a dynamic, student-centered environment.

• Skilled with technology, curious about innovation, and open to learning new tools.

• Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.

• A growth mindset with the flexibility to pivot and problem-solve as needed.
