Job summary

Fusion Academy is a fully accredited, private school for grades 4–12. We seek an English and History Teacher to shape schedules, create engaging lessons, and collaborate with a passionate team.

You will teach a range of courses, differentiate instruction, and build strong partnerships with families. The role emphasizes student-centered learning, ongoing professional development, and the use of technology in a dynamic campus culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degrees or a teaching credential is a plus.
• Ability to teach a wide range of courses (English Composition, Literature, Language Arts, World and U.S. History, Government, Economics, Humanities, and Electives).
• Experience working with students, including those with learning differences, neurodiversity, accelerated learning needs, and/or mental health challenges.
• Mentoring experience and a passion for social-emotional learning.
• Outgoing, adaptable, and eager to thrive in a dynamic, student-centered environment.
• Skilled with technology, curious about innovation, and open to learning new tools.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• A growth mindset with the flexibility to pivot and problem-solve as needed.
• Florida residents require level 2 background screening.
