Fusion Academy is a fully accredited private school providing 1-to-1 instruction for grades 4–12. We seek a Physical & Health Education Teacher in Edina, MN to deliver personalized PE and health courses, differentiate instruction, and foster social-emotional growth in students.

You’ll build partnerships with families, collaborate with staff, and keep precise records while pursuing ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Kinesiology or Physical Education.
• Minimum 20 college credits in Kinesiology, Anatomy, Physiology, and/or Physical Education.
• Current CPR Certification.
• Enrollment in a program for, or completion of, a Personal Trainer certification.
• Ability to teach a wide variety of PE & health courses (curriculum provided).
• Experience with students with learning differences and neurodiversity.

• Differentiate and personalize academic instruction and support social and emotional development in students ranging from 4th - 12th grades.

What We’re Looking For:

• Previous education or experience must include one, or a combination of the following:

• Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology or Physical Education

• Minimum of 20 college credits in Kinesiology, Anatomy, Physiology, and/or Physical Education

• Expertise in the relevant subject area

• Enrollment in a program for, or completion of, a Personal Trainer certification

• Current CPR Certification

• Ability and willingness to teach a wide variety of PE & health courses (athletic sports, dance, board sports, personal fitness, group classes, health), following content standards — curriculum and resources provided.

• Experience working with students, including those with learning differences, neurodiversity, accelerated learning needs, and/or mental health challenges.

• Mentoring experience and a passion for social-emotional learning.

• Outgoing, adaptable, and eager to thrive in a dynamic, student-centered environment.

• Skilled with technology, curious about innovation, and open to learning new tools.

• Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.

• A growth mindset with the flexibility to pivot and problem-solve as needed.
