Fusion Academy is a fully accredited private school offering 1-on-1 learning experiences for grades 4–12. As a Physical & Health Education Teacher, you will design creative lessons, tailor instruction to individual students, and collaborate with a passionate team to foster academic, social, and emotional growth.

The role emphasizes personalized teaching, differentiation, and strong family partnerships, with opportunities to contribute to campus life and ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology or Physical Education is required.
• Minimum of 20 college credits in Kinesiology, Anatomy, Physiology, and/or Physical Education.
• Enrollment in or completion of a Personal Trainer certification.
• Current CPR Certification is required.
• Ability to teach a wide variety of PE & health courses (athletic sports, dance, board sports, personal fitness, group classes, health).
• Experience with students including those with learning differences, neurodiversity, accelerated learning needs, and/or mental health challenges.
• Mentoring experience and a passion for social-emotional learning.

As a Physical & Health Education Teacher, you’ll have the flexibility to shape your schedule, design creative lessons, and collaborate with passionate colleagues. What We’re Looking For:

• Previous education or experience must include one, or a combination of the following:

• Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology or Physical Education

• Minimum of 20 college credits in Kinesiology, Anatomy, Physiology, and/or Physical Education

• Expertise in the relevant subject area

• Enrollment in a program for, or completion of, a Personal Trainer certification

• Current CPR Certification

• Ability and willingness to teach a wide variety of PE & health courses (athletic sports, dance, board sports, personal fitness, group classes, health), following content standards — curriculum and resources provided.

• Experience working with students, including those with learning differences, neurodiversity, accelerated learning needs, and/or mental health challenges.

• Mentoring experience and a passion for social-emotional learning.

• Outgoing, adaptable, and eager to thrive in a dynamic, student-centered environment.

• Skilled with technology, curious about innovation, and open to learning new tools.

• Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.

Pay Range
