Job summary
Prosser Memorial Health in Prosser, WA seeks a full-time Physiatry (PM&R) Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant for our Spine/Pain Clinic. You will join a supportive team led by Dr.
Ralph Laraiso to treat musculoskeletal and neurological conditions and help patients regain function and quality of life. Qualifications include WA licensure, DEA registration with prescriptive authority, ACLS, and pain management experience.
Qualifications
- Degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant program.
- Active WA State licensure and DEA registration with prescriptive authority in WA.
- ACLS certification is required.
- Experience in pain management, neurology, orthopedics, or physiatry is preferred.
- Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic reasoning skills; effective communication and patient education.
Responsibilities
- Conduct physical assessments for patients with spine and musculoskeletal pain.
- Develop and manage multidisciplinary rehabilitation plans focused on functional restoration.
- Coordinate care with physicians, therapists, and other specialists.
- Prescribe medications and assist with minor in-office procedures.
- Educate patients on treatment goals and safe medication practices.

- Conduct thorough physical assessments for patients suffering from acute and chronic spine and musculoskeletal pain
- Develop and manage comprehensive, multi-disciplinary rehabilitation plans focused on functional restoration, mobility and pain management
- Coordinate care with collaborating physician, therapists, and other specialists
- Prescribe medications; assist with or perform minor in-office procedures
- Educate patients on treatment goals and safe medication practices

- Previous clinical experience in pain management, neurology, orthopedics, or physiatry, preferred
- Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic reasoning skills
- Effective interdisciplinary communication and patient education skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Three-year guaranteed salary plus incentive compensation based on productivity.
- Compensation is based on MGMA and determined by skills and experience. Annual base compensation range of $135,000.00 - $165,000.00.
