Job summary

Southcoast Health in Fairhaven, MA is seeking an Urgent Care Physician to join our not-for-profit health system. The successful candidate will contribute to our tradition of practice excellence while caring for pediatric and adult patients in a fast-paced urgent care setting.

Qualifications

• Medical degree from an accredited institution.
• Board certification/eligibility in Emergency Medicine or Family Medicine.
• Current state medical license and DEA registration.
• Fully vaccinated against seasonal influenza and COVID-19 or eligible for exemption with signed statement.
• Excellent communication and patient care skills.

Responsibilities

• Must be qualified to treat a spectrum of illnesses and injuries for pediatric and adult patient population.
• A broad range of clinical skills including GYN exams and minor office procedures (suturing, I&D, fracture reduction and splinting).

Position Overview

Southcoast Health is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate physician to join our esteemed Urgent Care team. The successful candidate will contribute to our tradition of practice excellence and play a pivotal role in advancing patient care in our community.

Key Responsibilities

• Must be qualified to treat a spectrum of illnesses and injuries for pediatric and adult patient population.
• A broad range of clinical skills is required including GYN exams and minor office procedures including sutures, I&D, reduction and splinting of fractures and dislocations

Qualifications

• Medical degree from an accredited institution.
• Board certification/eligibility in Emergency Medicine or Family Medicine
• Current state medical license and DEA registration.
• Demonstrated clinical excellence, patient satisfaction, and effective communication skills.

• Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal Influenza and the COVID 19 virus or to be exempt from the requirement for medical or personal reasons by signing a statement certifying you are choosing to be exempt from vaccination once hired.

Pay Range

USD $175.00 - USD $175.00 /Hr.
