Job summary

Southcoast Health seeks an Urgent Care physician to join our team in Fairhaven, MA. The role covers day, evening, weekend, and holiday shifts with a 24-hour schedule, providing high-quality care to pediatric and adult patients in our community.

The successful candidate will hold an MD, be board-eligible or certified in Emergency Medicine or Family Medicine, and possess active licensure and DEA registration. Competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Medical degree from an accredited institution.
• Board certification/eligibility in Emergency Medicine or Family Medicine.
• Current state medical license and DEA registration.
• Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal influenza and COVID-19 or approved exemption by signing a waiver.

Responsibilities

• Treat a spectrum of illnesses and injuries for pediatric and adult patients.
• Perform GYN exams and minor procedures (suturing, I&D, reductions, splinting) and manage fractures.

Position Overview

Southcoast Health is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate physician to join our esteemed Urgent Care team. The successful candidate will contribute to our tradition of practice excellence and play a pivotal role in advancing patient care in our community.

Key Responsibilities

• Must be qualified to treat a spectrum of illnesses and injuries for pediatric and adult patient population.
• A broad range of clinical skills is required including GYN exams and minor office procedures including sutures, I&D, reduction and splinting of fractures and dislocations

Qualifications

Pay Range

USD $190.00 - USD $190.00 /Hr.

Rotation Schedule Requirement

every other holiday every other weekend
