Job summary

Southcoast Health System, Inc. in Seekonk, MA is seeking an Urgent Care Physician to join our team.

The role covers day, evening, weekend, and holiday shifts (33 hours/week), in a not-for-profit health system delivering care across Southeast Massachusetts and Rhode Island. Eligible candidates must hold a medical degree, be board-certified or eligible in Emergency Medicine or Family Medicine, possess a current MA license and DEA registration, and be fully vaccinated or have an approved exemption.

Qualifications

• MD from an accredited medical school.
• Board certification or eligibility in Emergency Medicine or Family Medicine.
• Current state medical license and DEA registration.
• Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal influenza and COVID-19 or eligible for exemption with signed statement.

Responsibilities

• Treat a spectrum of illnesses and injuries for pediatric and adult patients.
• Perform GYN exams and minor office procedures (sutures, I&D, reductions, splinting).

**Available to regular status employees who are scheduled to work a minimum of 20 hours.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

• Must be qualified to treat a spectrum of illnesses and injuries for pediatric and adult patient population.
• A broad range of clinical skills is required including GYN exams and minor office procedures including sutures, I&D, reduction and splinting of fractures and dislocations

Qualifications

Pay Range

USD $190.00 - USD $190.00 /Hr.
