Job summary

Kolmac Integrated Behavioral Health in Columbia, MD is seeking a SUD PHP Therapist to deliver evidence-based care in PHP/IOP settings, leading groups and individual sessions.

You will collaborate with psychiatrists, nurses, and other clinicians, develop person-centered treatment plans, and document care timely.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in counseling, Social Work, Marriage & Family Therapy, or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of direct clinical experience providing mental health treatment.
• Strong knowledge of CBT, DBT, ACT, and trauma-informed care; EMDR preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual and group psychotherapy for adults in PHP levels of care.
• Develop and maintain person-centered, trauma-informed treatment plans.
• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments and level-of-care determinations.
• Educate patients on diagnoses, treatment approaches, and symptom management to support insight.
• Design and deliver process, psychoeducational and skills groups focusing on emotional regulation, coping skills, and mental wellness.
• Collaborate with psychiatrists, nurses, and fellow therapists for integrated care.
• Participate in treatment team meetings, case consultations, and discharge planning.
• Coordinate care with families, referral sources, and external providers as appropriate.
