Samba Recovery is seeking a Licensed Master-Level Therapist to provide evidence-based clinical services within a substance use and behavioral health recovery program offering PHP and IOP. Responsibilities include assessments, treatment planning, individual and group therapy, and support for long-term recovery.

Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, you will address co-occurring disorders, relapse prevention, and emotional regulation while maintaining ethical, client-centered care.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychology, or related behavioral health field from an appropriately accredited institution.
• Current, active, and unrestricted independent clinical license appropriate to the position and jurisdiction.
• In Georgia, qualifying licenses may include LPC, LCSW, or LMFT, subject to state requirements and duties.
• Experience providing clinical services to individuals with substance use disorders or co-occurring mental health conditions.
• Knowledge of evidence-based therapeutic interventions, treatment planning, clinical documentation, and relapse prevention.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to maintain professional boundaries, ethical standards, confidentiality, and accurate clinical records.

Responsabilités

• Conduct biopsychosocial assessments including ASAM criteria and clinical evaluations.
• Develop, implement, and update individualized treatment plans.
• Assess substance use history and relapse risk; coordinate with medical and treatment teams.
• Provide individual counseling and group therapy for PHP and IOP.
• Utilize CBT, DBT, MI, and relapse prevention as appropriate.
• Support clients in identifying triggers and developing coping strategies.
• Encourage accountability and engagement in the recovery process.
