Job summary

WhiteTech, a remote-first fintech company, is seeking a senior PHP engineer to join our payments platform. You’ll design, test and deploy scalable backend services, focusing on API robustness, security and performance, while collaborating with frontend and platform teams.

You’ll work with Symfony, Doctrine ORM, CQRS, Event Sourcing and microservices, shaping domain models and architecture. Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, PostgreSQL, and test automation with PHPUnit/Codeception/Behat is

Qualifications

• Proficiency in PHP and OOP with solid backend design skills.
• Strong knowledge of Symfony and RESTful API design.
• Experience with CQRS, Domain Events, and Domain-Driven Design.

Responsibilities

• Designing, developing, testing, documenting, releasing and supporting software from scratch.
• Enhancing and refining our API and backend systems.
• Integrating third-party solutions to broaden the payment ecosystem.
• Running tests and setting up testing environments for new features.
• Fixing bugs and debugging the developed software.
• Preparing technical documentation and providing production support.
• Collaborating with frontend and team members to work efficiently.
• Showing curiosity for innovations and unconventional solutions.
