Job summary

WhiteTech, a remote-first technology company, seeks an experienced backend engineer to revolutionize payments infrastructure. You will design, develop, test, and support scalable fintech software using PHP/Symfony, REST APIs, and CQRS/Event Sourcing patterns.

Qualifications

• Proven experience building scalable fintech backends.
• Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Familiarity with CQRS and Event Sourcing patterns.
• Experience in Kubernetes-based deployments.
• Proficient in PHP and Symfony framework.
• Ability to design domain models in DDD context.
• Experience with automated integration tests.
• Knowledge of relational databases and SQL optimization.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, document, release and support software from scratch.
• Enhance and refine existing API and backend systems.
• Integrate third-party solutions to broaden the payment ecosystem.
• Run tests and set up a testing environment for new features.
• Fix bugs and debug the developed software.
• Prepare necessary technical documentation.
• Provide production support for implemented software.
• Collaborate with frontend developers to complete tasks efficiently.
• Apply strong troubleshooting skills and seek innovative solutions.
