PsiQuantum seeks an Engineering Manager, Photonics Hardware Validation, to lead the validation of electro-optical subassemblies and single-photon sources/detectors. You will guide test strategy from early concepts through manufacturing readiness, partnering with design, electrical, mechanical, firmware, software, packaging, and manufacturing teams.

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field and 8+ years in optical/electro-optical hardware characterization, validation, and test.
• 2+ years in people management or leading technical teams.

Responsabilidades

• Lead and grow a photonics hardware validation team with defined ownership and career development.
• Oversee comprehensive characterization and validation plans from bring-up to manufacturing transfer.
• Establish repeatable measurement methods, calibration practices, and test documentation.
• Drive cross-functional debugging and root-cause investigations with clear risk reporting.
• Review designs for testability and validation access; translate requirements into test criteria.
