Job summary

CACI International Inc. is seeking a New Product Manufacturing Engineer to lead production environments for optical and photonic solutions. The role focuses on transitioning products from design to prototyping and establishing low-volume manufacturing processes for government applications.

You will oversee lab technicians and coordinate with engineering, supply chain, and quality teams to ensure on-time, compliant production growth and first-time prototypes.

Qualifications

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Must be a US person.
BA/BS degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university.
Minimum of five (5) years of experience as a manufacturing engineer or in a related role.

Responsibilities

Lead the transition of products from design to prototyping and low-volume manufacturing.
Develop and lead production planning, providing accurate labor, cost, and schedule estimates to support programs and proposals.
Identify, set up, and qualify production workstations.
Author detailed work instructions to describe and control build, assembly, and testing processes.
Define requirements and procure custom fixtures necessary for photonic subsystem assemblies.
