Job summary

Polar Semiconductor in Bloomington, MN seeks a Process Engineer to support capacity expansion and process optimization in semiconductor manufacturing. You will develop and qualify ASML lithography processes, work with OEMs, and drive performance through data analysis and advanced process control.

Cross‑functional collaboration is essential to enable new product introduction and continuous improvement in a cleanroom environment, with emphasis on APC, data methods, and recipe management.

Qualifications

• Requires cleanroom environment experience and fully gowned.
• Working knowledge of SPC, Gage R&R, and Six-Sigma methodology.
• Strong written and verbal communication for cross-functional collaboration.
• Experience with technical writing, computers, problem solving and organization.
• Bachelor's degree in Optical/ Chemical Engineering, Physics, Chemistry or related field.
• 5+ years of photolithography in semiconductor manufacturing environments.

Responsibilities

• Developing new processes and qualifying new equipment.
• Performing experiments, analyzing results, and making recommendations.
• Work with OEM (ASML) to integrate industry best practices at PSL.
• Evaluate software/hardware upgrades to improve throughput and yield.
• Create standards for data analysis methods in process development.
• Create/modify ASML lithography recipes and backup procedures.
• Disposition product and equipment; monitor APC systems; optimize process control.
• Collaborate with device engineering and technology development teams to enable new products.
