Job summary

Texas Instruments is seeking an Equipment Technician to perform preventive maintenance, repairs, upgrades, and installation of manufacturing equipment. You will collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams to resolve issues and improve tool performance.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, 18+ years old, and 2 years semiconductor tech experience or 8 years non-semiconductor/military tech experience, with a 12-hour compressed schedule including weekends/holidays.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Must be 18+ years old.
• 2 years semiconductor experience as Technician OR 8 years non-semiconductor/military Technician experience.
• Ability to work 12 hour compressed schedule, day or night, with one weekend shift and holidays.
• Preferred: AMAT or Axcelis implanters experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on equipment.
• Improve system performance to meet process requirements and eliminate repetitive downs.
• Monitor and analyze related data to improve tool performance and address issues.
• Coordinate supplier service and prepare technical reports and findings.
