Job summary

Texas Instruments is seeking an Equipment Technician to perform preventative maintenance, repairs, improvements, upgrades, and installations on manufacturing equipment. You will work closely with engineering and manufacturing teams across the fab to solve issues efficiently and sustain optimal tool performance.

The role requires a minimum high school or technical degree with hands-on maintenance experience and the ability to work 12-hour shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Minimum education: technical certificate or associate degree in a relevant field.
• At least 3 years of hands-on maintenance experience or equivalent.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance on equipment and conduct repairs as needed.
• Improve tool performance and coordinate with engineering and manufacturing teams.
• Install equipment upgrades and new tooling when required.
• Coordinate supplier service and maintain thorough technical reports.
