Job summary

Texas Instruments is seeking a skilled Equipment Technician to join our team. You will perform preventative maintenance, repair, upgrade, and install equipment while interfacing with engineering and manufacturing across the fab to ensure issues are solved promptly.

The role requires a high school diploma, 18+, and either 2 years semiconductor technician experience or 8 years non-semiconductor/military experience.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 2 years semiconductor experience OR 8 years non-semiconductor/military technician experience.
• Ability to work 12 hour compressed work schedule.
• Flexible to work day or night shift including one weekend shift and holidays.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance, equipment repairs, improvements, upgrades, and installation.
• Improve system performance to meet process requirements and eliminate repetitive downs.
• Coordinate supplier service and repairs where needed.
• Prepare the technical report and summary findings and recommend solutions to technical problems.
