Job summary
Samsung Austin Semiconductor is seeking a Photo Equipment Technician to perform set-up, calibration, system support, maintenance, and quality testing on photolithography equipment. You will collect and analyze operating data, make in-line and flow adjustments, and document repairs while complying with health, safety, and environmental guidelines.
The role requires an Associate degree or technical certification, plus hands-on mechanical or troubleshooting experience.
Qualifications
- Associates degree or other technical certification.
- Mechanical experience or computer-based troubleshooting experience.
- 4 years equivalent relevant technical and/or Military service.
- Familiarity with 6S best practices.
- Familiar with TBM concepts.
- Focused on continuous improvement in fast-paced, changing environment.
Responsibilities
- A safety and quality centered mindset.
- Proficiency with basic hand tools.
- Experience or knowledge of the photolithography process is a plus.
- Troubleshooting: Data analysis and hardware failure analysis/repair in a high-pressure atmosphere.
- Utilization of onboard diagnostics to understand and correct equipment issues.
- Thorough documentation of all repairs and maintenance.
- Monitor Equipment/Process: Monitoring equipment and processes in current state and proactively looks for ways to improve processes.
- Teamwork and Communication: Working in a team environment and effectively communicate throughout organization.
