Job summary

G/FORE is seeking a Photo Studio Manager in Raleigh to lead the photo studio and oversee photography and video production for ecommerce, marketing, wholesale, and print. You will drive scalable workflows, manage budgets, and mentor internal and external studio teams while partnering with Production, Marketing, Merchandising, Design, and eCommerce.

Applicants should have proven studio leadership experience, strong budgeting skills, and familiarity with Creative Force, Global Edit, and major Adobe

Qualifications

• Proven experience managing a photo studio or high-volume production environment.
• Experience building scalable production workflows.
• Hands-on with studio management software such as Creative Force or Global Edit.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day operations of the photo studio, ensuring projects are planned, tracked, and delivered efficiently.
• Establish production calendars, timelines, and priorities across multiple workstreams and deadlines.
• Act as primary administrator for Global Edit/Creative Force, including file management and asset tracking.
• Identify inefficiencies and propose solutions to improve speed, quality, and scalability with tools like Creative Force, Monday, etc.
• Provide leadership, mentoring, training, and development for studio teams.
• Budget management: create, forecast, and track production budgets.
• Source freelance crew and talent matching brand standards; onboard vendors.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Sales, Merchandising for shoots and asset needs.
• Lead contract and rate negotiations for models and freelancers with proper documentation.
